Due to prolonged heavy rain, the border commune of Tam Thanh (Thanh Hoa) suffered heavy damage to infrastructure, people's lives and especially educational facilities; the government urgently evacuated 106 households to avoid landslides.

Heavy rains and floods caused 46 major landslides, washed away large areas of crops, damaged spillways, canals, roads, and the risk of landslides on hillsides is threatening people's safety....

This locality is proposing to superiors to support 409 billion VND to overcome educational damage, build resettlement areas for 119 households and repair essential infrastructure systems.
