With the spirit of solidarity, dynamism and responsibility, in the period of 2021-2025, all levels of the Youth Union in the province have closely followed the direction of the Central and the province, widely implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has directed 100% of the grassroots youth unions to develop and implement specific plans, suitable to the practical situation in each locality, closely linked with youth movements...
One of the key tasks at the grassroots level is economic development, sustainable poverty reduction, and increasing legitimate income for young union members and rural people.
The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee coordinated to organize 6 intensive training courses on new rural construction for over 600 youth union officials, union members, youth (YVTN), cooperative members (HTX), young farm owners; organized 50 propaganda sessions, seminars, and talks on collective economic models, high-tech agricultural production development, circular agriculture, value chain development... for over 5,000 YVTN participants.
Notably, the Provincial Youth Union has supported the establishment of 25 new cooperatives and 30 cooperative groups owned by young union members, participating in management in the fields of agriculture, small-scale industry, services, and community tourism . A series of start-up models of young union members have been born, creating a strong spillover effect, such as: The organic tea model of Mr. Hoang Van Tuan in Phu Do commune (Phu Luong); Trang Xa clean agricultural cooperative (Vo Nhai) of Mr. Hoang Ngoc Vu; Ghenh Che lake community tourism model of Mr. Tran Dai Cuong (Song Cong city)...
To support the youth union in economic development, the youth union organizations in the province have closely coordinated with the Social Policy Bank to create conditions for the youth union to borrow capital to start a business, so far the outstanding loan balance has reached over 1,018 billion VND. This is one of the resources that helps thousands of youth union members have the conditions to develop the economy and stabilize their lives.
Mr. Au Xuan Huu, in Nam Hoa commune (Dong Hy), shared: From 100 million VND borrowed from the Social Policy Bank, I had capital to build a chicken and pig farm and develop it stably, earning a profit of 300-400 million VND/year.

| Many "Routes to light up the countryside" have been implemented by youth organizations in the province, contributing to the construction of new rural areas in localities. |
Along with developing production, business, and improving living standards, Thai Nguyen youth also demonstrate a pioneering role in community activities. In the period 2021-2025, over 350 youth projects and tasks have been implemented, including over 100 roads lighting up the countryside and 135 communal-level community gyms.
The Youth Unions also mobilized resources to support the construction of 64 new houses and the repair of 45 houses, with a total cost of 5.2 billion VND. Over 300 activities to preserve national cultural identity were organized, attracting more than 30,000 Youth Union members and people to participate, contributing to building a cultural and civilized lifestyle in the community.
In the field of environmental protection and climate change response, the "Green Sunday" and "Volunteer Saturday" movements have been deployed widely. In the period of 2021-2025, the youth of the whole province organized over 2,000 environmental cleaning campaigns, with over 65,500 youth union members participating; maintained over 200 self-managed roads that are bright - green - clean - beautiful - civilized - safe; built over 130 points for collecting and sorting waste at source.
The Youth Union has contributed to renovating 24.5km of irrigation canals; rebuilding and repairing 25.5km of rural roads, worth over 500 million VND; dredging 17.5km of streambeds, renovating 15km of roads, collecting 7.5 tons of waste, planting 8.5km of rural flower roads...
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Hoang Anh Duc said: We will continue to improve the quality of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns; promote propaganda, raise the sense of responsibility of each youth union member to contribute to building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. At the same time, we will continue to propose to all levels and sectors to have more practical support mechanisms and policies, creating favorable conditions for youth union members, especially in difficult areas, to have the opportunity to rise up and become rich legitimately on their homeland.
