Hanoi: Striving to complete the target of creating jobs for 169,000 workers

The Hanoi People's Committee has just had a plan to support and develop the labor market and create jobs for workers in the city in the last 6 months of 2025.

The plan aims to complete the target of creating jobs for 169,000 workers, reducing the urban unemployment rate to below 3%, and increasing the rate of trained workers to 75%. Thereby ensuring the target of increasing the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) by 8% or more in 2025.

To complete the above targets, the City People's Committee directed units to strengthen information and propaganda on employment policies and vocational training; provide recruitment and job search information through electronic information portals, transaction sessions, media...

The city also builds specific policies for people who leave their jobs due to administrative unit reorganization; implements resolutions related to improving the business environment, developing the private economy , promoting science and technology, and innovation.

At the same time, upgrade and effectively operate the City Job Portal, focusing on applying digital transformation and AI in the operation and exploitation of data at the City Job Portal; build an open data system, update labor supply and demand in each commune and ward; prioritize jobs for workers affected by administrative arrangements; promote administrative procedure reform, create a "green channel" to attract investment, including applying the "green channel" mechanism to support businesses.

At the same time, create maximum conditions for businesses in the fields of innovation and high technology; improve the efficiency of loans to create jobs; ensure that 100% of eligible subjects are entitled to preferential loans; continue to effectively implement the group of solutions to develop the labor market such as promoting consulting and job introduction activities: Organize regular, thematic, online and mobile transaction sessions...

The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to guide communes and wards in implementing the above contents. The People's Committees of 126 communes and wards urgently made specific plans, arranged funding; supported, propagated, organized mobile job fairs...
