Two male students fought because their "girlfriend" was asked to pay a debt of 200,000 VND

(NLDO)- Two schools in Vinh Long have disciplined two students who fought over a girlfriend being asked for money to buy beer for her birthday party.

On October 28, the People's Committee of Vinh Long province held a press conference for the third quarter of 2024. Here, representatives of Vinh Long Provincial Police informed about a group of students from two schools in the area fighting.

According to the incident, NMA (10th grade student, Nguyen Thong High School) lent HKN (15 years old, student of Vinh Long College) 200,000 VND to buy beer for a birthday party.

After 2 days, A. texted to ask for the money back and N. returned the money to A. However, NTT (student, Vinh Long College, N.'s "boyfriend") was upset that A. attended N.'s birthday party and lent him money, but texted to ask for the money back.

Therefore, T. invited 8 other students at the same school to meet A. in the alley near Vinh Long College to settle the matter. A. invited 2 more students from the same school.

At this point, T. and A. got into a fight. The other students stood outside and watched. As a result, T. suffered a cut lip, while A. was uninjured. After that, both sides dispersed.

Upon hearing the news, the school invited the students to work. Based on the school's regulations and the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , Vinh Long College disciplined T. by suspending him from school for a period of time and warned the remaining 8 students. Nguyen Thong High School disciplined A. by reprimanding him and reviewing 2 students.
