View of the meeting
In his opening speech, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Manh Hung emphasized: with the motto of "innovation, proactiveness, flexibility, companionship and responsibility", the Provincial People's Council continues to closely coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee in solving political tasks, socio-economic development, and government building. Since the regular mid-year session until now, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council has proactively prepared the content of the thematic session to promptly consider and decide on many important and urgent issues, especially on: Promoting science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; Policies to support cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers when changing workplaces due to administrative unit arrangement; Solutions for socio-economic development, ensuring social security and improving the effectiveness of state management.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dai Thy approved the meeting agenda.
He said: Despite the large workload and short preparation time, with the efforts and responsibility of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the People's Council Committees and specialized agencies, the content of the meeting was carefully prepared, in accordance with procedures and with sufficient legal basis. The Provincial People's Council delegates studied and contributed opinions in groups, and the People's Council Committees conducted examinations as a basis for discussion and resolution.
Delegates approved the meeting agenda.
The meeting is expected to pass 21 Resolutions. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the delegates to uphold their sense of responsibility, promote democracy, focus on discussion and reach consensus to pass important and feasible resolutions, contributing to meeting the development requirements of the province in the new period. At the same time, he requested the Provincial People's Committee to fully absorb and explain the opinions of the delegates and the verification reports of the People's Council Committees.
