Tuition fees of universities training in Languages for the 2025 academic year

Next school year, the Diplomatic Academy plans to apply a tuition fee of 3.4 - 4.5 million VND/month (34 - 45 million VND/school year), which is equivalent to the previous school year. For the English Language major, the tuition fee is 4.5 million VND/month (45 million VND/school year).

Accordingly, the highest fee is 1.7 million VND per credit, applied to the Information Technology major taught in English. The rest, the common fee is 780,000 VND. Compared to last year (0.72-1.58 million VND per credit), tuition fees for new students in 2025 increased by about 7.5-8.3%.

Specifically, the expected tuition fee for the standard program is from 780,000 - 1.1 million VND/credit. For the advanced program, it is from 780,000 - 1.7 million VND/credit. For foreign students, the school applies a tuition fee of 1.15 - 1.45 million VND/credit.

Tuition fees are adjusted each school year according to the Government 's tuition adjustment roadmap and depending on the actual situation, with an increase of no more than 15% per school year.

According to the school's announcement, the expected tuition fee of the University of Foreign Languages, Vietnam National University, in 2025 is from 16.9 to 65 million VND, mostly unchanged from the present.

The University of Foreign Languages said that the highest tuition fee applied to the joint program in Economics - Finance has increased by more than 2.5 million VND. According to the school representative, the increase is due to the difference in exchange rates.

The tuition fees for English, French, Chinese, German, Japanese, and Korean language majors remain at VND38 million per year. Tuition fees for Russian and Arabic language majors also remain unchanged at VND21 million per year.

The lowest tuition fee for the Transnational Culture and Communication major is 16.9 million, an increase of 1.9 million VND.

The University of Foreign Languages - Hue University has tuition fees for the 2025-2026 school year (expected to be collected) for Pedagogy majors: from 15,900,000 VND/1 school year/1 student to 21,800,000 VND/1 school year/1 student (equivalent to 455,000 VND/1 credit to 625,000 VND/1 credit); if students register to benefit according to Decree 116/2020/ND-CP dated September 25, 2020 of the Government, they will be exempted from tuition fees and receive support for each semester.

Tuition fees for the remaining majors: from 20,300,000 VND/1 academic year/1 student to 21,800,000 VND/1 academic year/1 student (equivalent to 580,000 VND/1 credit to 625,000 VND/1 credit).

Next school year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology will keep the tuition fee for 2025 unchanged at 1,230,000 VND/credit.

On average, each semester, students register for about 15-18 credits, equivalent to tuition fees from 14 million to 21 million VND/semester. In total, each year, HUFLIT students need to prepare about 28-42 million VND in tuition fees.

According to the 2024 high school graduation exam results, the benchmark score for English Language at the Diplomatic Academy is 35.38 points (English subject coefficient 2).

The admission score is the total score of the 3 exams in the candidate combination used for admission (Foreign Language score is calculated with coefficient 2) and regional and subject priority points (if any).

Hanoi National University of Education's benchmark scores range from 22 to 29.3 points.

In which, the English Language major has a standard score of 26.99 points (admission combination D01).

Thus, with the calculation of scores based on the combination of 3 subjects for admission, candidates need to achieve nearly 9 points per subject (combination D01) to be admitted to the English Language major at the school.

At the National Economics University, the admission score for the 2024 high school graduation exam for English Language major is 35.6 points. In which, the English score is multiplied by a factor of 2.

The admission combination for English Language major is A01; D01; D09; D10.

Thus, with the above scoring method, candidates need to score nearly 9 points per subject to be admitted to the English Language major at the school.
