The 15th Conference of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Term XVII

This morning, December 30, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee convened the 15th meeting of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, term XVII, 2020 - 2025, to evaluate and classify the Provincial Party Committee in 2023 and take a vote of confidence for the following comrades: Provincial Party Secretary, Deputy Provincial Party Secretary, and members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. Member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Quang Tung; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung chaired the meeting. Representatives of Department I, the Central Party Office and local Departments in Da Nang attended the meeting.

Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Le Quang Tung emphasized that 2023 marks the halfway point of the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress. In the context of complicated developments in the world , the region and the country, it has affected investment, production, business and export activities nationwide and in the province.

In that condition, the Provincial Party Committee and Party committees at all levels, with high political determination, great efforts and drastic actions, have contributed to successfully implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and building a clean and strong Party and political system.

In 2023, the province's economy will continue to recover and grow, with 7/9 targets reaching and exceeding, 2/9 targets approaching the plan. The annual GRDP growth rate will reach 6.68%, with average GRDP per capita reaching 71 million VND/person.

The agricultural growth rate reached 5.41%, grain output reached over 300,000 tons, exceeding the plan by 15.38%. The industrial growth rate reached 7.95%; trade and services were gradually restored, with growth reaching 6.41%.

Total budget revenue reached over 3,800 billion VND, reaching 93.8% of the estimated plan, total social investment capital reached 24,220 billion VND. The province's master plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, has been approved by the Prime Minister.

Cultural and social fields continued to achieve clear results; the multidimensional poverty rate decreased by 1.2%; major celebrations were successfully organized, which were highly appreciated.

Foreign affairs activities were carried out synchronously and effectively, creating trust with foreign partners. National defense and security were consolidated and enhanced, preparing and successfully organizing the defense zone exercise, provincial civil defense and defense zone exercise of 4 localities at district level, which was assessed by Military Region 4 as having been completed excellently in all aspects...

Pursuant to Article 12, Regulation 124-QD/TW of the Politburo on classification criteria, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee plans to classify the Provincial Party Committee in 2023 as having excellently completed its tasks.

Through voting, the conference unanimously ranked the Provincial Party Committee in 2023 as having excellently completed its tasks.

The conference also took a vote of confidence for the comrades: Provincial Party Secretary, Deputy Provincial Party Secretary, and members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
