More than 1,200 billion VND to implement the Economic Development Target Program

From 2019 up to now, programs, policies and projects for ethnic minority and mountainous areas have been implemented promptly and synchronously in the province, in which the Target Program for Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas has contributed to effectively implementing the Party and State's policies for ethnic minority areas in localities.

Implementing Project 5 on Developing Education and Training, Improving the Quality of Human Resources under Program 1719, Yen Lap district invested in repairing and maintaining a number of classrooms and dormitories for Trung Son Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.

Accordingly, in the period of 2021-2024, implementing the Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas, the total mobilized capital allocated to 2024 is more than 1,229 billion VND; of which: Investment capital is more than 707 billion VND, career capital is over 522 billion VND. The above capital has been and is being deployed for investment and support from infrastructure to direct support for policy beneficiaries with the goal of promoting economic, cultural and social development, ensuring social security, building a strong political system, maintaining political security, social order and safety in the province's ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

Up to now, many of the Program’s goals and targets have been achieved or nearly achieved as planned. Through the program, people can feel secure in their work and production, improve their lives, escape poverty, and contribute to the development of increasingly prosperous rural areas in the highlands.
