On the evening of September 2, at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square (Hanoi), the music journey "Proud of Vietnam" - a key activity within the framework of the communication campaign of the same name initiated by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union - officially ended with a concert night, leaving a strong impression in the hearts of the public.

This is the symbolic final stop of the musical journey “Pride of Vietnam,” taking place at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square - the heart of the Capital - within the framework of the Independence Festival “80 Years of Pride of Vietnam.”

The event was jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association, the Hanoi People's Committee, and the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports , with the participation of more than 10,000 people.

From very early on, streams of people poured into Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, carrying red flags with yellow stars, bright smiles and the excitement of immersing themselves in the atmosphere of the grand ceremony.

When the program officially started, the entire square was filled with spectators, creating a "sea of people" of bright red color. Cheers and applause mixed with the melody, making the atmosphere more exciting and warm.

The art program is divided into two parts: the solemn Ceremony part, the emotional Festival part, with three art chapters "Heroic historical pages," "Continuing glory" and "Echoes of Vietnam."

Music becomes a continuous flow, leading the audience from the memories of their ancestors to today's pride and future aspirations.

The show gathered artists from many generations: "old trees" such as People's Artist Thanh Hoa, People's Artist Bach Tuyet, the contemporary generation with singers My Linh, Phuong Thanh, Tung Duong, young artists with the families of singers Dong Nhi, Ong Cao Thang, little Winnie and singers Truc Nhan, Isaac, Suboi, Phuong My Chi, Phao, Lam Bao Ngoc, Muoi, Haley... brought fresh colors.

In particular, the young musician group DTAP - the musical soul of the journey - skillfully connects tradition with modernity, creating a close and inspiring musical space.

Each artist not only performed, but also sent emotional messages. People's Artist Thanh Hoa said: "DTAP's young people have done a wonderful thing, which is to breathe modernity into folk materials, so that today's youth can feel proud of what belongs to Vietnam."

People's Artist Bach Tuyet emotionally shared: "I lived through difficult years, when even a trip had to be paid for with blood. Today, seeing the young generation sing about the Fatherland with pride, I believe our nation will go very far."

The climax of the music night was when all the artists and tens of thousands of audiences simultaneously sang the final melody, creating a "sea of people" glowing with red and yellow stars. Music at this moment became the voice of the nation, echoing from history to the present. The high-altitude fireworks display at Hoan Kiem Lake closed the program, marking the brilliant moment of Independence Day September 2 and the journey of 80 years of Vietnamese Pride.

That atmosphere spreads faith and aspiration: love for the Fatherland has never faded, still flowing in every vein of Vietnamese people today.

Starting from Ho Chi Minh City on August 19, “Pride of Vietnam” is not only a series of music nights but also a journey of memories and aspirations, through the provinces and cities: Da Nang, Hue, Quang Tri, Nghe An, Phu Tho…, places rich in historical and cultural traditions. At each stop, music is combined with gratitude and exchange activities, bringing a visual experience of history and evoking national pride.

The artists, along with union members and youths, had many meaningful activities: meeting living witnesses at Vung Ro Wharf, paying tribute to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Da Nang City and Phu Tho Province, offering incense at the Martyrs' Cemetery in Hue City, visiting Hue National School, visiting Quang Tri Citadel, Parallel 17, going to Uncle Ho's hometown Lang Sen, participating in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods in Nghe An Province. Each location is not only a place for performances but also a vivid history class for artists and young audiences.

“Proud of Vietnam” is a prominent piece in the multi-platform communication campaign of the same name, aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

In addition to the actual journey, the campaign also spread strongly in the digital space. On TikTok alone, there were more than 185,000 posts with 4.6 billion views, while on Facebook, this number reached nearly 356,000 posts with an estimated 5 billion views with the hashtag #TuhaoVietNam.

The theme song "My house has a flag hanging" from the album "Made in Vietnam" also attracted hundreds of millions of views, becoming a companion song throughout the journey.

After nearly a month of traveling thousands of kilometers from the South to the North, the “Pride of Vietnam” journey has completed its mission: bringing music, history and national spirit to hundreds of thousands of audiences. The music night in Hanoi concluded the series of events, but its echoes still resonate – in each song, each story, and in the pride of the young generation.

The “Pride of Vietnam” campaign has demonstrated the power of music and media in connecting generations, spreading pride and turning it into concrete action.

That is also the core message: when each young person turns pride into creativity and dedication, it will be the endogenous strength for the nation to firmly step into the new era./.
