'Some laugh, some cry' over math exam

The joy and sadness of candidates in Phu Yen at the end of the high school graduation math exam were clearly shown on each face after leaving the exam room.

"For me, this year's math test is quite easy, starting from question 40 it starts to differentiate, the difficulty gradually increases. However, getting a score of 7-8 is not too difficult. There may be mistakes in the last 10 questions, but I am very sure of getting the first 40 questions," said candidate Au Gia Phuc, taking the exam at Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted (Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen).

Many candidates have different comments about this year's math exam.

Candidate Nguyen Ngoc Tu, also taking the exam at Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted, said he could get a score of 9 because the math test was quite easy.

"This year's math test was quite easy for me, it only took me about 70 minutes to complete the test. The math test was not highly differentiated because the difficulty increased from question 40. Although I don't rely on high school graduation exam scores for university admission, I'm still confident that I'll get about 9 points in math," Tu said.

Contrary to the candidates' belief that this year's math exam was easy and easy to score, many candidates left the exam room with worried faces.

Many candidates in Phu Yen said that the math test was highly differentiated and the geometry part was quite difficult.

Candidate Nguyen Le Huy, from Phan Luu Thanh Secondary School (Dong Xuan District, Phu Yen), said that the math test was quite difficult.

"I'm only sure of about 30 questions, about 7 points. The geometry part is quite difficult, taking up about 1/3 of the test, it's easy to fail this part. Because I chose the natural combination for university admission, I'm not very confident and quite worried. I have to try harder in the remaining natural combination test," Huy expressed.
