Results of the vote of confidence of 44 senior leaders

At the opening session on the afternoon of October 25, the National Assembly listened to the Vote Counting Committee report on the results of the vote of confidence for 44 positions elected or approved by the National Assembly.

Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong presented a draft Resolution confirming the results of the vote of confidence, announcing the high confidence - confidence - low confidence votes of 44 leadership positions.

Among the 44 personnel subject to the vote of confidence this time, there is one person from the President's bloc, 17 people from the National Assembly bloc, 23 Government members, two personnel from the judicial bloc and one person from the State Audit bloc.

According to National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, the vote of confidence aims to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the National Assembly's supervisory activities and improve the quality and efficiency of the State apparatus.

This is also an activity that contributes to assessing the prestige and performance of assigned tasks and powers of the person whose confidence is voted on, helping the positions elected and approved by the National Assembly see their level of trust so that they can continue to strive, practice, and improve the quality and effectiveness of their work.

In particular, according to new regulations in Resolution 96 of the National Assembly, the results of the vote of confidence are also the basis for competent authorities to consider, plan, train, arrange and use cadres.

Up to now, the National Assembly has taken three votes of confidence in positions elected and approved by the National Assembly.

The first time was in 2013, the National Assembly took a vote of confidence for 47 positions. In 2014, the National Assembly took a second vote of confidence for 50 people and at the 6th session of the 14th National Assembly, the National Assembly took a vote of confidence for 48 positions.
