With the theme “New Challenges, New Talents”, the English summer camp of Atlantic Five-Star English Center for primary school students was organized with 2 admission sessions in June and July, each session lasting 4 weeks. For secondary school students and IELTS course, the summer camp lasted 6 weeks, starting last June.
In addition to English lessons and practice with foreign teachers, this year's summer camp is more special with the presence of international students who assist in most daily activities.
With a new approach to language training and diverse activities in the course such as Art Club, Workshop, Showcase, Science Club, or practical outing trips, it has helped children develop their ability to use English in real life, while providing many experiences and knowledge, creating conditions for children to explore and develop new skills.
At the Summer Gala, through performances on stage, the students demonstrated their ability to use and communicate in English naturally and demonstrated their confidence, creative thinking, teamwork, presentation skills and artistic abilities - skills they learned and experienced at Atlantic Five-Star English last summer.

Not only do they showcase their talents and breakthroughs they have achieved through the summer camp, but they also display artworks created by students during the camp. Hundreds of diverse works from paintings, unique T-shirt decorations to creatively decorated flower pots demonstrate the students' talents and extremely rich imagination.
In particular, at the end of the Summer Gala program, the best works of students in the Fine Arts Club of the summer course were displayed and auctioned. All auction proceeds were used to contribute to the “Nuoi em” fund - a project to bring meals to children in disadvantaged areas, so that no child is left behind on the journey of pursuing knowledge.
This activity not only helps to discover hidden talents, express artistic and creative abilities of children but also nurtures in them sympathy, sharing and love in life.
The three best paintings were selected to be auctioned with the themes: astronaut, fruit tray and photographer, respectively, and received special love and support from parents as well as the students themselves. The total auction value for the three paintings mentioned above, along with the proceeds from the sale of other works including paintings, shirts, and flower pots decorated by the students themselves, was recorded at 16,450,000 VND, all of which will be contributed to the “Nuoi em” fund.
Ms. Vu Thi Kim Huong, Deputy General Director of Atlantic Five-Star English shared: “Atlantic aims to not only train children's English skills but also practice the overall SLATE skill set through diverse learning activities and experiences.”
SLATE stands for Soft Skills, Life Skills, Academic Skills, Testing Skills and English Skills. This is a 5-skill model built by Atlantic Five-Star English and integrated into the training program not only for Summer Camp but also for English courses for students of all ages with the goal of achieving Cambridge and IELTS standard output.
