Khanh Hoa announces third exam subject for grade 10

Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu, agreed with the proposal of the Department of Education and Training on the enrollment plan for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year, choosing English as the third exam subject for grade 10.

On the morning of February 19, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to the Department of Education and Training report on the plan for enrolling students into grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year. At the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed with the proposal of the Department of Education and Training on the plan for enrolling students into grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year in the province, similar to the previous school year. He agreed that English will be the third subject for the entrance exam to grade 10 in Khanh Hoa.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Khanh Hoa province will organize admission exams for the provincial Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities; Lac Long Quan High School; Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary and High School (Khanh Vinh District) and Khanh Son High School (Khanh Son District). Admission exams for Le Quy Don Specialized High School (Nha Trang City) and the remaining public high schools in the province.

The 2025-2026 school year is the first year of enrollment in grade 10 high school according to the 2018 General Education Program, implementing the regulations on enrollment in junior high school and high school according to Circular No. 30, dated December 30, 2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training. Therefore, the enrollment in grade 10 of Khanh Hoa province has some notable points such as: The Department of Education and Training decided to choose English as the third exam subject; adjust and supplement the admission method for Le Quy Don Specialized High School, non-specialized public high schools, priority regime, incentive points, how to calculate admission points, and direct admission subjects.
