Groundbreaking ceremony for the Great Unity House to be donated to Mr. Dang Van Gie's communal house in Vi Tan ward

Delegates performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a Great Unity house to support Mr. Dang Van Gie's family.

The house is worth more than 160 million VND, sponsored by the Vietnam Roofing Association and Dong Tam Joint Stock Company in coordination with the "Vietnamese Heart" Fund of Vietnam Television for Mr. Dang Van Gie's family in area 15, Vi Tan ward.

In addition to Mr. Gie's family, 3 other households with difficult circumstances in Vinh Tuong commune, Vi Tan ward and Vi Thanh ward received support to build Great Unity houses during this period.

Mr. Tran Van Chinh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Chinh informed that as of June 30, Can Tho City has completed the Plan to respond to the emulation movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area, with 11,462 newly built and repaired houses, with a total cost of more than 598 billion VND. However, the city still has many households facing housing difficulties and are unable to solve the problem themselves.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, Mr. Tran Van Chinh acknowledged and thanked the sponsors. He hoped to continue receiving support from businesses, organizations, and philanthropists to support people in difficult circumstances, contributing to the successful implementation of the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind".
