Quan ho cultural activities originate from the custom of making friends between villages. The outstanding feature of the custom of making friends is that people in the same villages consider each other as relatives, often caring for each other in both material and spiritual life. In the past, the Lien Anh brought plows, harrows, and buffaloes to help Quan Ho with their friends.

All of this is so that their friends can plow and plant in time, and have time to participate in "playing Quan Ho" during the spring and festivals. When members of their Quan Ho friends have happy events such as building a new house, getting married, giving birth... then their Quan Ho friends come to visit, first to congratulate, then to organize singing to pray for luck and happiness. When members of their Quan Ho friends have sad events, such as illness or a death in the family, people also come to visit or offer condolences. If it is a funeral, they organize worship singing to pray for the soul of the deceased to be at peace in the other world .

Nowadays, the urbanization rate is increasing, the people's lifestyle has also changed a lot. The Party Committee of Thi Chung Ward always pays attention to leading the maintenance and promotion of Quan Ho culture, multiplying good actions in the community. Thi Chung maintains the activities of the Quan Ho club well. Every time there is a festival at the communal house or pagoda, Thi Chung Quan Ho and other Quan Ho friends eagerly attend the festival, meet each other to express their feelings through each song. The image of the two brothers and two sisters happily and excitedly responding to each other's words during the festival or singing together to congratulate the bride and groom at weddings has become very familiar to the people here.

Not only on important holidays, the beauty of Quan Ho culture is also clearly shown in the daily activities of residents. For a long time, the people of Thi Chung neighborhood have been familiar with the neighborhood loudspeakers in the early morning. Sometimes it announces the policies of the Party Committee and the government at all levels; sometimes it convenes meetings, solicits opinions on people's issues...

Secretary of the Thi Chung Ward Party Cell Nguyen Van Sau said: Preserving and promoting the cultural values of Quan Ho has a positive meaning in building a civilized community. Residents of Thi Chung Ward always actively participate in emulation movements in production and labor and unite to build a cultural life in an advanced direction but still imbued with identity. In 2023 and 2024, the people of the ward supported more than 1.2 billion VND to restore the village gate and repair the communal house and pagoda to be more spacious.

Preserving and promoting the quintessence of Quan Ho culture, Thi Chung continues to develop, reaping brilliant successes, the material and spiritual life of the people is increasingly improved. The neighborhood continuously achieves the title of cultural residential area. Every year, 96-98% of households achieve the title of cultural family.
