From 10am on July 21, the province experienced prolonged heavy rains, accompanied by strong tornadoes, injuring two people, damaging 76 houses; nearly 20 hectares of greenhouses and net houses for growing crops collapsed; many vehicles such as cars and motorbikes were damaged. Total damage is estimated at more than 13 billion VND.
Some areas with heavy damage include: Son My commune (roofs blown off 18 houses), Phu Thuy ward (roofs blown off 4 houses), Quang Lap commune (nearly 16 hectares of greenhouses damaged).

Faced with the above situation, the Provincial People's Committee issued an urgent dispatch, requesting departments, branches and localities to proactively inspect the scene, handle incidents and support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned to coordinate in calculating the damage and guiding people to prepare support documents according to regulations. In case of exceeding the capacity, localities must synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration.

At the same time, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested tourism and service establishments to proactively deploy measures to ensure absolute safety for tourists, in the context of complicated developments of storm No. 3 (Wipha).
