Spreading the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement in the Navy

Also attending were Colonel Be Hai Trieu, Director of the Department of Mass Mobilization, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, representatives of the Hai Phong City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, the Political Department of Military Region 3 and agencies and units under the Navy.

The 2024 Navy “Skilled Civil Affairs” Contest has 21 teams from 21 units under the Navy, with 252 contestants who are soldiers, workers, defense officials and core members of twinned units. The teams are divided into 2 blocks, including units at the Regional level, Department, Customs Academy, Saigon New Port and mid-level and brigade units.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bong, Political Commissar of the Navy, emphasized the need to spread the emulation movement of skillful mass mobilization throughout the entire Navy.

The teams compete in 3 parts: Part 1: Introduce the agency or unit through dramatization combined with visual propaganda to introduce the agency or unit, team name and participating members. Part 2: Propaganda of typical and effective models and activities of the agency or unit through dramatization combined with rhetoric and other visual propaganda. Part 3: Compete in knowledge through multiple choice and handle situations through direct answering.

Speaking at the opening of the contest, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bong, Political Commissar of the Navy, emphasized: The contest "Skilled Mass Mobilization", Navy in 2024 is a profound and practical political activity in the entire Navy and the stationed areas, aiming to continue to raise awareness of officers, soldiers, professional soldiers, defense workers and civil servants, laborers and people about the role and importance of mass mobilization work, and is also an opportunity for cadres doing mass mobilization work to exchange, learn, and share knowledge, experiences, good, creative, effective ways of doing things, and typical models of mass mobilization work in agencies and units in the Navy.

Representatives of the Ministry of National Defense and the Army presented souvenir flags to the competing teams.

The Navy Commissar requested the contestants to be calm, confident, strictly comply with the rules and regulations, do a good job of preparing for solidarity, humbly learn to achieve the highest results in the contest. Maintain and operate the contest closely, according to the determined program and plan; must promote the spirit of responsibility, judge the exam strictly, seriously, impartially, objectively, in accordance with the regulations.

The contest lasts for 2 days, August 27 and 28. After the contest, agencies and units need to organize an evaluation to draw lessons, widely propagate the content and results of the contest to spread the "Skilled Civil Service" movement throughout the Army.

Based on good practices, creativity, research, and flexible application to the practical situation of one's agency or unit, contributing to continuing to improve the quality and effectiveness of mass mobilization work and the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement, building "Good Mass Mobilization Units" in the Army; at the same time, selecting good scripts and exemplary propagandists to prepare to participate in the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" contest at the entire army level.
