Lao Cai: More than 9,700 union members and workers participate in the "Union Meal" program

The “Trade Union Meal” program, directed by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and coordinated by trade unions at all levels, will take place from July to September 2025, peaking in the week of the Vietnam Trade Union Foundation Day (July 28) and National Day (September 2). This is one of the outstanding activities, creating a widespread influence among union members and workers.

Responding to the program, Lao Cai province had 71 units organizing "Union Meals" with 9,719 participants, totaling over 662 million VND. During the implementation process, grassroots unions also coordinated to recruit new union members, support workers in difficult circumstances, give gifts to children of workers who have overcome difficulties to study well, and at the same time promote the activities of the Vietnam Trade Union.
