Originating from the Hung Kings' era, the heroic uprisings, through the Dinh - Le - Ly - Tran - Nguyen dynasties, to the Doi Moi process, the calendar recreates the flow of Vietnamese history with sacred milestones. The spirit of independence and freedom of the nation is affirmed through three immortal heroic works: Nam Quoc Son Ha, Binh Ngo Dai Cao and Declaration of Independence, which are the red thread running through, expressing the indomitable will and strong aspiration of the Vietnamese people.

Each calendar page is a vivid slice of history, expressed through multi-colored paintings, created by a group of artists and students from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts. In particular, the creative team has applied artificial intelligence (AI) to support the idea and material search, but the entire creative process is still guided by emotion, imagination and human hands.
“Last year, when I was assigned to compile the calendar, I struggled a lot. At that time, I thought about the theme related to the 80th anniversary of National Day, but then I suddenly remembered the saying of Professor Tran Van Giau: “Vietnam’s history is an endless asset, a precious medicine that can be used to stimulate national pride”. From then on, instead of 80 years, I thought I needed to expand the range from the time of founding and defending the country to the present day”, Dr. Quach Thu Nguyet recalled.

The calendar is divided into four themes corresponding to the historical stages of the nation: Independence - Unification - Innovation - Development. "Although we divide the stages like that, we do not tell the story in chronological form but in cross-sections, so that readers can sympathize with the emotional flow that the creators convey," Dr. Quach Thu Nguyet shared.

It can be said that the combination of knowledge - art - technology has created a calendar that is both modern and culturally profound, bringing a new experience to the user. The calendar not only has artistic value but is also a valuable cultural and educational document, contributing to nurturing love for the homeland and a sense of responsibility to the country.
