Unique welcome for new 10th grade students of a famous specialized school

(NLDO) - 22 clubs with 22 unique welcoming performances by "senior" students of Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted for newly admitted 10th grade students.

On August 22, Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted organized a specialized subject experience day and club activities to welcome new 10th grade students for the 2025-2026 school year.

This is an experiential activity that many generations of "Tran Chuyen" students - the common name of students when talking about Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted - have awaited. Each year has a different form, but every year the experiential forms are unique, interesting, bearing the typical colors of the famous specialized school in the city.

History and geography classes meet in the school's smart library. Students are introduced to the curriculum, visit the learning space, experience interactive games and typical products of each subject.

The chemistry class impressed everyone by organizing the “fire hand” experiment, attracting curiosity and enthusiastic participation from students. Meanwhile, the physics class was equally bustling when organizing the game “guessing teammates’ thoughts” to create cohesion and stimulate thinking.

After class activities, students gathered in the lobby to welcome the arrival of 22 clubs - school projects.

The clubs are divided into 3 blocks: Culture - Society , Skills - Arts, Academics - Information. This will be the place for students to freely burn out with their passion, practice skills, and gain experience.

After the introduction, grade 10 students were able to directly visit and experience the club booths in the main hall. The visit gave students the opportunity to learn more about the clubs they were interested in, and from there, make the right choice to join in the future.

Passing on the "Tran Chuyen" fire to 10th grade students

To introduce the Arts Club to the 10th grade students, the club members "burned" the stage with a vibrant and emotional performance. With the theme "Harmony" of the festival, all teachers and students cheered along with the performances, together creating closeness and attachment in the place where "Tran Chuyen La Nha".

In the school yard, students were excited about the board with the question "What is your dream at Tran Chuyen?", many students signed and wrote their dreams on the board as a wish and also to send the message "Tran Chuyen carries dreams".

Mr. Pham Thanh Yen, Vice Principal of the school, said that today’s program has been invested in and is different from last year’s program as it has added activities to experience specialized subjects. This activity is to help new grade 10 students understand the learning method.

Today's festival is also an opportunity for students to get acquainted with the school's 22 clubs and projects. "We want students to not only study well but also develop comprehensively. Clubs are places for students to practice skills, challenge themselves and grow every day," Mr. Yen emphasized.
