Improve summer activity organization skills for grassroots union officials

The Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Young Pioneer Council of Lao Cai coordinated with the Department of Education and Training and the Program "Child-centered community development in Lao Cai province, period 2019 - 2024" to organize training on summer activity organization skills for grassroots youth union officials.

The training course equips youth union and team officials at all levels with many skills and knowledge to effectively organize summer activities.

70 delegates are full-time district youth union officials, commune youth union secretaries, village youth union secretaries; teachers and team leaders of Bao Thang, Bao Yen, Bat Xat, Muong Khuong, and Van Ban districts participating in the training.

During the 3 days (May 29-31), delegates were provided with knowledge and some basic skills: Organizing summer activities for students in the community; instructions on organizing traditional clubs for children; ways to prevent accidents and injuries...

70 union and team officials in the province attended the training course.

The training course is organized to equip and consolidate the necessary knowledge and skills for union and team officials to organize useful and meaningful summer activities, to attract students to participate at the grassroots level, create a healthy playground, and contribute to preventing accidents and injuries, especially for children in mountainous areas and ethnic minority areas.
