Artist Vuong Tuan, who co-starred with Thanh Kim Hue in Border Love Song, passed away.

Playwright Kho Gia Truong sadly said that his family announced that artist Vuong Tuan, who played the lead role with the late artist Thanh Kim Hue, passed away on August 10.

Mr. Vuong Tuan's real name is Le Van Cong, born in 1952 in Long An (now Tay Ninh).

Playwright Kho Gia Truong informed that artist Vuong Tuan was hospitalized, but his condition seemed to improve, making everyone happy for him. Unexpectedly, he quietly passed away on August 10.

Hearing the news of Vuong Tuan's death, People's Artist Thanh Dien exclaimed "so sad!".

Mr. Dien said that when he worked in Saigon 3, the troupe was performing the play Border Love Song , with the late artist Thanh Kim Hue paired with another artist.

At that time, Thanh Dien discovered Vuong Tuan, a young actor with a good singing voice but not many opportunities.

Seeing Vuong Tuan's potential, Thanh Dien boldly promoted Vuong Tuan to be the main actor, paired with Thanh Kim Hue in Border Love Song .

Wang Jun played the role of Ha Man Xuyen, and Thanh Kim Hue was Sao Ly. Thanh Dien played the role of Ma Lang at that time.

Thanh Dien said: "At that time, Border Love Songs was also performed for a long time. Tuan was gentle, passionate about his job, had a good singing voice, and a bright appearance. Although he didn't have much experience, he was very hard-working."

Artist Thanh Dien also regretted that despite his promising career, he suddenly saw that Vuong Tuan was absent. He asked and found out that Vuong Tuan had returned to his hometown in Long An.

"Back then, I also bought a house in Can Giuoc, Tuan also came to drink coffee with me. It's been a long time since we last saw each other, now I hear sad news about Tuan. I miss him so much!" - Thanh Dien said emotionally.

The funeral of artist Vuong Tuan was held in his hometown. The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. on August 12, followed by burial in his hometown.
