Thuy Duong received a score of 99.58 to win the highest prize of the Golden Bell of Traditional Opera worth 150 million VND.

It can be said that in the final rounds of the Golden Bell of Traditional Music 2025, Thuy Duong was not highly appreciated. There was a night when her voice was so hoarse that people thought she would have to stop playing.

In the decisive competition night, Thuy Duong competed with two junior contestants, Le Thi Ha Nhu and Vuong Quan Tri.

Duong was guided by coach Ngoc Doi with an excerpt from the reformed opera Queen Thuong Duong (author: Quoc Khanh).

Usually, contestants in the Golden Bell of Traditional Music often choose roles that are both romantic and romantic to be safe, however Duong and her coach took a risk and chose a unique role.

This is a difficult role to play and if not performed well, it will affect the quality of the voice. However, Duong surprised everyone by being the contestant who did the best in this part of the competition.

Judge Trong Phuc did not hesitate to comment that Duong had "transformed" because he thought her performance was wonderful, her songs were connected and very emotional.

Judge Phuong Loan also agreed that Duong completely transformed, the excerpt was extremely suitable for her ability.

Guest judge Que Tran felt satisfied when watching Thuy Duong's performance. Que Tran said that the role was "tailored" for Thuy Duong.

Que Tran highly appreciated Thuy Duong's wide range of emotions in expressing the character's laughter. According to her, it is not easy to express these different nuances.

In the traditional song drawing section, Duong chose the song "Vuong van song Hong" (composer: Nguyen Thien Dang). The judges thought that her singing was good but still safe, not enough to impress the listeners. If she had boldly sung it over, her golden bell might have been more convincing.

The boy with the accident received votes from the press

Standing behind Thuy Duong with a score of 99.38 is contestant Le Thi Ha Nhu. Ha Nhu often led in the previous rounds, but in the final round she did not perform well.

Ha Nhu performed with coach Vo Minh Lam an excerpt from the reformed opera The Night Before the Auspicious Day (author: Vo Tu Uyen).

The girl born in 2006, the same age as the Golden Bell award winner, drew the song Southern Love (author: Dang Thanh Huyen).

In addition to the silver bell award, Ha Nhu also won the awards for Most Favorite Contestant and Contestant with activities spreading community responsibility.

Winning the bronze bell was Vuong Quan Tri, the youngest contestant of the contest. Tri performed an excerpt from Tran Binh Trong's Charity (author: Duong Linh, Huynh Minh Nhi) with coach Ho Ngoc Trinh.

He drew the traditional song "Love and Affection" (author: Lam Huu Tang). Tri received 99.20 points from the judges.

The audience was also delighted when contestant Nguyen Tan Dat received the award voted by the press council. This award was judged by journalists from Tuoi Tre, Thanh Nien, Sai Gon Giai Phong, Phu Nu TP.HCM and Nguoi Lao Dong newspapers.

The audience was happy because Tan Dat was expected to win the golden bell because he had the best voice among the 9 contestants selected for the final ranking round.

However, in the final night, he suddenly had an accident while performing a vọng cổ verse. Due to a serious technical error, Tân Đạt had to stop, much to the regret of both the judges and the audience.

Fourth prize of the contest went to contestants Nguyen Phu Yen and Nguyen Thi My Duyen.

There are 4 consolation prizes for contestants Huynh Kim Tho, Pham Ngoc Nu, Nguyen Tan Dat and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nhu.
