"Establishing electronic health records for the entire population aims to reduce administrative procedures and facilitate medical examination and treatment," said Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen, who requested the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment ( Ministry of Health ) to support the city's human resources to implement the plan to examine the health of the people. People with chronic and serious illnesses are guided to specialized hospitals for examination.
Since 2021, Hanoi has set a goal of providing regular health check-ups at least once a year for all residents. However, due to many reasons and the Covid-19 pandemic, the free health check-up plan has only now been implemented.
