With magnified NBI endoscopy technology, the observed lesion had a type B1 altered vascular structure. Suspecting malignancy, the doctors took a biopsy sample for histopathology. The conclusion was low-grade squamous epithelial dysplasia.

In this patient, he accidentally went for a routine health check and luckily discovered esophageal cancer .

According to Dr. Thanh, esophageal cancer in the early stages often has no obvious symptoms so it is easily overlooked.
