A man sitting on the hood of a car running on Thang Long Boulevard

(Dan Tri) - The authorities have just clarified that a Limousine driver let a motorbike taxi driver sit on the hood of the car and then sped off on the Thang Long Boulevard service road.

On the morning of March 8, a clip was circulated on social networks recording the image of a man dressed as a motorbike taxi driver, sitting on the hood of a limousine running on the Thang Long Boulevard service road, passing through Me Tri ward, Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi .

Immediately upon receiving the information, Hanoi Traffic Police Department directed Traffic Police Team No. 6 to verify and clarify.

Afterwards, Traffic Police Team No. 6 quickly identified the person involved and invited him to work. At the same time, they coordinated with Me Tri Ward Police to extract camera footage and collect data to serve the investigation.

At the police station, the people involved were identified as TMC (born in 1993, from Son La ) driving the Limousine car with license plate 26B-013.xx and Mr. TTH (born in 1973, from Cau Giay district, Hanoi) - the person sitting on the hood of the car - driving the motorbike with license plate 29D1-084.xx.

Through testing, both of these people did not violate alcohol and drug concentrations.

According to the police, the initial cause of the incident was determined to be a traffic collision, leading to a conflict. The Hanoi Traffic Police Department is coordinating with the Me Tri Ward Police and the investigation police agency to continue to verify the cause of the incident and handle it according to regulations.

Some witnesses said that at the time of the incident, a motorbike taxi driver collided with a limousine driver. Unable to resolve the matter, the motorbike taxi driver climbed onto the hood of the limousine, while the limousine driver ignored the motorbike taxi driver and sped off on the road.

The official cause of the incident is being investigated by the police.
