Brad Pitt's house was broken into

Brad Pitt's home in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles was burglarized. Three suspects are still on the run, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

The burglary at Brad Pitt's home occurred around 10:30 p.m. on June 25, the LAPD told People . The suspects "entered the home through a front window, ransacked the home, and then fled with several items of property," police said. The three suspects have not yet been publicly identified.

Brad Pitt (61 years old) was not at home at the time of the burglary. According to real estate website Traded, the actor bought this house for 5.5 million USD in April 2023.

Since the beginning of 2025, there have been a series of break-ins at celebrity homes in Los Angeles. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's Los Angeles home was broken into on Valentine's Day.

Police sources told NBC News , ABC News and TMZ the burglars smashed a glass door to get in before ransacking the home and fleeing.

According to ABC 7 , Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson's home in Los Angeles was also broken into on August 5, 2024.

Brad Pitt's home break-in took place while the actor was promoting the international blockbuster F1 . The actor had just appeared at the European premiere of the film, in Leicester Square, London on June 23.

Director Joseph Kosinksi told People exclusively that he and Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton were "really impressed" with the actor's driving skills on set.

In the film, Brad Pitt plays the fictional Formula 1 driver Sonny Hayes, who had previously retired from racing after a tragic accident. The film also stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem and will be released worldwide, including Vietnam, on June 27.
