The 6th Party Congress outlined the comprehensive, profound and thorough renovation policy, reflected in the following issues: The Congress accepted commodity production, acknowledged the market economy; formed a socialist economic accounting management mechanism; innovated social, defense, security, foreign affairs and Party building policies.

The Renovation line is the crystallization of the Party's and the entire people's wisdom and also demonstrates the Party's high sense of responsibility towards the history of the country and the people. The renovation line of the Congress also marks a step of innovation in the Party's awareness, first of all the Central Executive Committee and the Politburo, in response to the needs of reality. The line proposed by the Congress demonstrates the development of theoretical thinking, the ability to summarize and organize practice of the Party, opening a new period of our country's revolutionary cause on the path to socialism.
