At this important celebration, today's parade and marching formation recreates and affirms the great stature and great value of the August Revolution of 1945, which gave birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam - the first people's democratic state in Southeast Asia.

Since that historic Autumn, our army and people have smashed the yoke of colonialism and fascism; abolished the feudal regime; created a historical turning point, turning our country from a colony into an independent, sovereign nation; our people from slavery became masters of the country; opened a new era - the era of national independence and socialism.

The great victory of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is an immortal heroic epic, a brilliant symbol of ardent patriotism.

This historical milestone also converges the strength of great solidarity; the burning desire for independence and freedom of the entire resilient and indomitable nation under the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh .

This is the victory of justice, social progress; of conscience, human dignity; becoming a source of inspiration and strong motivation to promote the national liberation movement around the world .

The spirit of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 will forever be a source of pride and a guiding torch; creating great material and spiritual strength; encouraging our entire Party, people and army to promote revolutionary heroism to the highest degree.

Continue to arouse the will to fight and win; enthusiastically compete in labor, production, innovation and creativity; realize the aspiration to develop a strong, prosperous and happy country in the new era of development, the era of strong national growth!

Leading the Royal Guard is the National Emblem of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The car body is developed from the "rowing boat" motif associated with the bronze drum, the symbol of the spirit of great national unity of Vietnam, vowing to wholeheartedly follow the path of socialism that the Party, Uncle Ho and our people have chosen; bringing the "Vietnamese Revolutionary Boat" to the shore of glory and happiness.

The team of 54 young men and women represents the intelligence, strength and identity of the 54 united Vietnamese ethnic groups, with their immortal strength, creating glorious victories in the brilliant Ho Chi Minh era.

The block of Party flags and national flags with the image of the flag fluttering on the historic Ba Dinh Square is the soul of the nation, a sacred and inviolable symbol, representing the ideals, beliefs, bravery, intelligence, spirit and strength of great national unity.

This is the source of strength for our entire Party, people and army to successfully carry out the cause of innovation, build and firmly defend the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland, and make the country develop into a rich, strong, prosperous and happy one.

The national flag is shaped with the spirit of strength, with the spirit of "rising and taking off", symbolizing the wish for "a strong and everlasting nation - a prosperous and happy country".

When the procession carrying the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh entered the ceremony stage, thousands of hearts were filled with emotion. President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader, the founder, leader and trainer of our Party, the national liberation hero, the beloved Father of the people's armed forces, led the Vietnamese revolution from one victory to another.
