"In 2007, People's Artist Kim Cuong allowed Golden Stage to use the script "La du rieng" (Durian Leaf), adapted by author Lam Tuyen into a reformed opera and directed by People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau. At that time, People's Artist Kim Cuong was suffering from severe rheumatism, but she still came to demonstrate for me the role of Miss Dieu, and thanks to that role, I won the Mai Vang Award" - People's Artist Le Thuy emotionally recounted.
