The death anniversary of the theater's founder has long become an indispensable event in the spiritual life of artists, an occasion for them to honor traditional artistic values and express gratitude to their ancestors.
Every year, the ceremony is not only an occasion for artists to gather, but also a moment for them to look back on their journey of dedication to art. People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi, talented actress, owner of the theater that bears her name, organized the ceremony with thoughtfulness, solemnity and full meaning.
As Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, Trinh Kim Chi not only contributed to the successful organization of the event but also demonstrated her leadership role in preserving and promoting traditional artistic values.
Despite being busy with many tasks, she still devoted great effort to preparing the Ancestor worship ceremony, creating a cozy, intimate, but no less solemn atmosphere.

Sharing about her responsibility, Trinh Kim Chi emotionally said: “For me, the death anniversary of the theater founder is an indispensable occasion in my artistic life. This is the time for us – the artists – to look back and pay tribute to the great contributions of our ancestors. I always want to bring a solemn and cozy atmosphere to the ceremony, not only for the actors on stage but also for all my colleagues. That is the way for us to keep the passion of the profession alive together."
The special feature of this year's ceremony is the connection between artists and the community through humanitarian actions. All donations from the Hung Kings' death anniversary were used to support the people of the North who are suffering from the consequences of floods.
Throughout the ceremony, Trinh Kim Chi could not hide her emotions when witnessing the affection of her colleagues and the audience. She shared that the contributions, big or small, contained sincerity, from the hearts of art lovers who turned to the North in difficult times.
