"Cam" revolves around the story of Huong village, where Hai Hoang is the village chief. Hai Hoang has two daughters, the beautiful Tam and Cam, whose face was deformed since birth.
Cam lived in self-pity but was loved and supported by Tam and the affection of a servant named Bom helped her maintain her kindness, love for her family and life. However, the peace of Huong village as well as Tam and Cam's life were fragile due to the threat of the evil Bach Lao.
