Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung assessed: After more than 1 week of merger, the operation of the 2-level local government model has been basically smooth; the implementation of administrative procedures for people has been basically smooth, convenient, and on schedule; the service attitude of the staff has received high appreciation from the people.
However, Gia Lai's area is very large and has a large population, so in order to continue to promote the highest sense of responsibility in the direction and management work, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to establish a second base-in-charge apparatus, assigning comrade Chau Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - to be in charge of the second base-in-charge, regularly grasp the situation, closely follow the base-in-charge to ensure smooth operations.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung also emphasized a number of important tasks that the second base needs to urgently carry out in the coming time. In particular, quickly stabilize the organization, assign work, avoid interruption; promote the potential and strengths of the Gia Lai region today. All difficulties and problems related to key projects such as: CK54 residential area, Nam Pleiku Industrial Park, Dak Doa golf course... must be quickly resolved. Continue to promote digital transformation and administrative procedure reform.
Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung suggested that Comrade Chau Ngoc Tuan work with localities again, re-identify key communes and wards to focus on investment in infrastructure, education , etc., creating highlights to attract investment. Each cadre and Party member should promote initiative, creativity, and be closely connected to the grassroots in the fastest and most effective way, completing assigned tasks in the best way; any issues beyond their authority should be reported to the Standing Committee for resolution within their authority.
Speaking at the reception of the mission, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Chau Ngoc Tuan said: “As a person from Gia Lai (old), with certain attachments, understanding and affection, with the assigned tasks, I will work closely with the leaders of the communes and wards of Gia Lai province for the goal of building Gia Lai (new) to maximize its potential and strengths, and unleash resources for socio-economic development of the province. Personally, on behalf of 77 Party Committees of communes and wards and departments and branches, I will cooperate, contribute and successfully carry out the assigned political tasks.
