Phuong My Chi burst into tears, sang in the rain at a music night for 3,000 spectators

On the evening of September 24, Phuong My Chi organized a music night to launch the album Vu tru co bay at Marie Curie High School (District 3, Ho Chi Minh City), attracting nearly 3,000 students to attend.

The music night also featured the appearance of many guest artists such as: Thu Trang - Tien Luat couple, Le Duong Bao Lam, Truong Quynh Anh, Hoang Yen Chibi, Huynh Lap...

Flying Stork Universe is a music night celebrating Phuong My Chi's 10th anniversary in her career, marking the transformation of the 10X singer from a "folk song girl" to a mature, versatile image singing many different genres of music .

"Phuong My Chi has been waiting for this day for 10 years" - the singer born in 2003 emphasized at the program.

According to the schedule, the concert was scheduled to start at 7pm. However, 10 minutes before the show, Ho Chi Minh City suddenly had a heavy rain. The heavy rain disrupted the concert.

All guests had to move to the corridor to take shelter from the rain. Technical staff hurriedly covered the sound and lighting equipment. The Organizing Committee also promptly distributed raincoats to the audience to cope with the adverse weather conditions.

More than 15 minutes passed but the rain still showed no signs of stopping. Phuong My Chi said in a choked voice: "Thank you everyone for still being here with me. Please wait for me a little longer."

After a delay of more than 30 minutes, the concert took place while the rain continued to pour. However, the audience and guests still filled the yard. They did not hesitate to take off their makeup, nice clothes, and wear raincoats to enjoy the concert.

Phuong My Chi choked up when appearing on stage: "Today is probably a day that I will never forget in my life. 10 years ago, I dreamed of having my own show. Today, everything has come true, but I didn't expect so many people to come, and even stand in the rain for me."

Throughout the show, Phuong My Chi almost performed in the rain. The female singer "debuted" with the song "Faraway Stars " and performed the remaining 9 songs in the album "The Flying Storks Universe" such as "Brocade Pillow", "The Girl Lying Listening to the Sea Sing", "Phu Hoa Shadow"...

Despite the unfavorable weather, the 10X singer still performed completely, sang clearly, and handled high notes well. The performances also invested in choreography, combined with modern sound and lighting, creating an emotional musical space.

There is also 3D mapping (a technique of using light and images to create 3D effects) displayed on the four walls of the campus. The appearance of rappers Suboi and Phao in the two performances Hai Dua Tre and Vu Co Co Anh made the music night even more exciting.

Guest artists were ready to brave the rain to support the 10X singer during the performance. Huynh Lap held an umbrella for Phuong My Chi while interacting with the audience. Le Duong Bao Lam, Hoang Yen Chibi... participated in the cup dancing challenge when the singer born in 2003 invited them on stage.

At exactly 9pm, the music night ended with the performance Pushing the Ox Cart. Phuong My Chi shared: "I don't know if I can sing until I'm old. But today, I hope to be a part of the youth of the audience here."
