According to the leader of the Dong Hoi City Public Service Management Board, garbage collection is very difficult because of the large amount of garbage, especially the heavily waterlogged garbage, which is transported from the sandbank to the collection point quite steeply and far away. There are areas where garbage has just been collected but the garbage from the sea continues to drift ashore.

"The Board will continue to collect garbage and duckweed in the remaining areas, trying to handle it quickly and thoroughly, ensuring environmental sanitation on the beach," said the leader of the Dong Hoi City Public Service Management Board.
