Informing VTC News , Mr. Vu Van Men in Luc Ngan, Bac Giang said that the "movement" of buying original lychee trees has existed for many years. However, over time, this trend has become more popular and is now favored by many customers. Most gardeners in the "capital" of lychee have a few trees that have been purchased separately. People who buy whole lychee trees have many reasons, partly because they want to support lychee farmers. But mainly because they are addicted to this specialty, they want their relatives to harvest and enjoy it in the garden comfortably, as they like.
Mr. Men is the head of the lychee production cooperative in Dong Giao village of Luc Ngan district. The strength of this cooperative is growing lychees organically, exporting to demanding markets such as Japan, Korea, Europe, America...
Because of the adherence to organic lychee growing model, while lychee grown freely by farmers is struggling to find a market, Mr. Men's model has always maintained its export strength for many years. Mr. Men affirmed that his organic lychee garden for many years has always been strong in output. Lychee grown and harvested is consumed as soon as it is sold, never unsold.

Lychee at Mr. Men's cooperative is grown according to strict organic standards, meeting the requirements of European, Japanese, American markets... For many years, his cooperative has signed contracts to sell lychee to many businesses at prices ranging from 30,000 - 35,000 VND/kg.
Regarding the trend of buying original lychee trees, which is very popular nowadays, Mr. Men said that his cooperative alone has sold 50 lychee trees. Most of these lychee trees are 30-35 years old.
“ The care work will be applied to the remaining trees. When the season is ripe, buyers will come to pick and harvest the lychees on the purchased trees. Each lychee tree costs from 7-10 million VND/tree. Each lychee tree yields from 150-200 kg. Among the buyers, there are many VIPs, officials, local leaders, and ministries. The garden owner is very happy that customers increasingly like to order original lychee trees. Right from the beginning of the season, many customers have called to discuss and finalize prices with the garden owner ," Mr. Men added.
In addition, many tourists also come to experience the lychee garden, because of their love for it, they spend money to buy the whole tree. After the lychee trees are sold, the garden owner will put a sign with the buyer's name right under the tree. When the fruit is ripe, the garden owner will call to notify customers so they can arrange a time to come harvest, and can also combine the tourism experience. Currently, there are travel companies that buy lychee trees separately to serve their tours right at the lychee garden.
Mr. Tran Van Hanh in Giap Son commune, Luc Ngan district is one of the pioneers in linking with businesses to build a lychee garden tourism model and sell whole lychees to tourists.
According to Mr. Hanh, the lychee garden experience tours are organized and exploited from mid-March, when the lychee flowers have just begun to bloom. Since then, Mr. Hanh's garden has continuously welcomed groups of visitors. The experience activities include taking photos and camping. The garden owner will personally act as a tour guide and present the process of caring for and producing lychees, along with funny stories about the local lychee season.
