Storm No. 3 Yagi has left serious consequences, not only in the northern mountainous provinces such as Thai Nguyen, Lao Cai, Cao Bang, Yen Bai ... but also spreading to Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Duong, Bac Ninh, the suburbs and outskirts of Hanoi capital ... Many places are deeply flooded, causing separation and isolation. Many other places suffered serious damage to people and property.
However, in the difficult days, the spirit of solidarity shone brightly, turning the hearts of our compatriots into a unified block, joining hands to overcome difficulties.
From ordinary people, to agencies, organizations, enterprises… and kind-hearted people, all turned to the flood areas, showing the spirit of mutual love and support in times of trouble. The beautiful images of people defying danger, wading through water, turning over land, helping fellow victims, and timely relief teams arriving in the flood areas have warmed the hearts of many people.
The solidarity of the whole country has been clearly demonstrated in practical actions. From donating food, necessities, and supplies to directly participating in relief work, cleaning up and repairing houses... all demonstrate the solidarity and fearlessness of the Vietnamese people.
Not only the people, artists also joined hands to contribute such as: singer Ngoc Son, artist Truong Giang, actress Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc, singer Ha Anh Tuan, shark couple Nguyen Hoa Binh - Phuong Oanh, singer Hoa Minzy, streamer Do Mixi... and many other artists have pioneered in supporting the people of the North, spreading the message of love and helping each other.
The noble act of Professor Dr. Le Ngoc Thach - a visiting lecturer at the University of Natural Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City National University) - by bringing a savings book of 1 billion VND to the editorial office of Tuoi Tre Newspaper to send his love to the people of the North who are suffering from storms and floods is a clear demonstration of the spirit of mutual love and sharing difficulties of the Vietnamese people.

Or the touching story of Mrs. Vu Thi Phung, a Giay ethnic, in Ta Van Day 2 village, Ta Van commune (Sa Pa, Lao Cai), despite her old age and hunched back, she still brought a bag of sticky rice from home to contribute with the Women's Union to make banh chung to support people who were suffering from floods.

Mr. Phung's noble action is not only about sharing, but also a shining example of the spirit of mutual assistance and love for fellow countrymen, even though his own circumstances are not very good.
Everywhere in Vietnam, from those who have money to donate material things, to those who spend time and effort wrapping banh chung, preparing many meals from night to morning,... All create a colorful picture of the indomitable Vietnamese spirit, standing in front of difficulties, uniting, supporting and loving each other. The two words "compatriots" have a sacred meaning, connecting the hearts of Vietnamese people together in difficult times.
At the same time, from North to South, many retail businesses have not been afraid of difficulties in transporting goods at stable prices; a series of gas stations have quickly overcome the consequences to support people against the storm and countless volunteer trucks have transported essential goods to the flood center, hoping to support and share some of the difficulties with people in stormy and flooded areas.
More particularly, amidst the storm and flood, the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers was once again deeply engraved in the hearts of the people because they worked day and night to rescue the people, the police force, the army force and local authorities struggled to fight against Typhoon Yagi, protecting and evacuating people to safety. A lot of sweat and effort was poured in. There were people who remained forever in the middle of the storm and flood while ensuring the safety of the people during Typhoon Yagi... All of that made the beautiful images of the police soldiers and Uncle Ho's soldiers increasingly deeply imprinted in the hearts of the Vietnamese people.

That is how the Vietnamese are! The more difficult and arduous the situation, the more united we become. It is this spirit of solidarity and resilience that has helped Vietnam overcome all difficulties. Storms and floods will pass, and people's lives will gradually return to normal, but the spirit of solidarity, love and mutual support will forever be a great source of motivation, helping our country overcome all challenges and build a better and more prosperous life.
