The work is the result of a meticulous research, collection and compilation process that lasted for many years, with the aim of recording and summarizing the stages of development, ups and downs and innovation of Ho Chi Minh City's reformed theater over the past half century.
Through that, the book gathers many writers who have done in-depth research on the Cai Luong stage, introducing many valuable documents to help generations of artists and the public who love Cai Luong have a more comprehensive and profound view of the journey of a unique art form, closely associated with the spiritual life of the people of the South.
