The landslide occurred in the early morning of September 29, directly affecting the production land, outbuildings, and kitchens of three Co Tu households in Ga'nil village, including Poloong Niu, TaNgôn Thị Bách, and Poloong Nhieu.
According to records, the landslide area is about 130m long and more than 160m wide, posing a risk to the safety of local people's lives and production.
That very night, the commune government mobilized shock troops, coordinated with Ga'nil villagers to help evacuate people, move some necessary items, and ensure the safety of property and lives of mountain people.

Mr. Ky said that this morning, Hung Son commune authorities sent forces to inspect the scene, coordinate with local households to set up barriers, warn of danger, and report to superiors for handling and remedial measures.
