Former German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger and former number one tennis player Ana Ivanovic have just officially confirmed their breakup after 9 years of living together.

This shocking news was announced by both sides on the afternoon of July 22 (German time). Ivanovic's lawyer, Mr. Christian Schertz, shared with Bild newspaper that the reason Schweinsteiger and Ivanovic broke up was due to "irreconcilable differences".
