Finance Academy branch will open in Hung Yen province

The Academy of Finance presides over and coordinates with the University of Finance and Business Administration to be responsible for completing the application dossier to establish the Academy of Finance Branch in Hung Yen province on the basis of the University of Finance and Business Administration submitting it to the competent authority for consideration and decision in accordance with current law provisions.

The Ministry of Education and Training is responsible for the content of the report and proposals and recommendations in Document No. 1103/TTr-BGDDT dated August 4, 2025 on approving the policy of establishing the Academy of Finance Branch in Hung Yen province on the basis of the University of Finance - Business Administration.

The Academy of Finance was established under Decision No. 120/2001/QD-TTg dated August 17, 2001 of the Prime Minister, on the basis of merging 3 units: Hanoi University of Finance and Accounting (formerly the Central Bank School of Finance and Accounting, established in 1963), the Institute of Financial Research and the Center for Training of Finance Cadres.

The Academy performs the function of training university and postgraduate staff in the fields of Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Financial English and Financial and Accounting Informatics; Scientific research and training in management technology in the fields of finance, accounting, business administration to serve the planning of financial and economic policies for the industry and the country; serving teaching and management; Training according to title standards and expertise, profession, management technology in economics, finance - accounting.

Currently, the Academy of Finance has 6 training facilities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
