Exciting competition in fire prevention and fighting safety skills

TPO - The 2024 "Fire Prevention and Fighting Inter-Family Group Competition" in Nghe An province has created a playground for households to exchange and improve their fire prevention, fighting and rescue skills.

On May 23, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized the Fire Fighting and Rescue Competition "Fire Prevention and Fighting Inter-family Team" in 2024. The competition was attended by 21 teams, representing 21 districts, cities and towns in the whole province.

The teams had to go through two rounds of competition, including theory and practice. In the practice, the teams competed in a scoring format based on the time it took to complete the competition. The teams had 8 male and female members. Of these, 6 were competing, 2 were victims of a simulated fire that broke out in a locked house.

After the starting signal, the members quickly ran to the location of the fire fighting equipment, pressed the fire alarm, and used pliers to break the lock of the burning house. At the time of the fire, there were 2 victims in the house. The task of the teams was to put out the fire and save people and property.

Along with controlling the fire, rescue work was also quickly deployed.

The teams demonstrated coordination and mutual support with smooth operations in handling situations.

The audience cheered and encouraged the teams.

After 2 rounds of exciting competition, the Hung Nguyen district team won the first prize overall. With this result, Hung Nguyen district will represent Nghe An province in the regional competition with 14 provinces and cities across the country.
