The play "Giselle" has created many emotions with the audience because of the contrasting structure of the two performances: the scene of a village in Southern Germany in the Middle Ages, during the harvest season, filled with peace and rural joy. "Giselle" - the main character, is an innocent, beautiful girl who has the potential to be chosen as the queen of that year's harvest season.
In contrast, the setting of the afterlife after Giselle's death is full of resentment but still filled with love. The ballet was composed in 1841 - the most famous and widely known work in the career of French composer Adolphe Adam.
