Donating car engines and robots to support students in scientific research

On March 29, the University of Technology (University of Danang) held a ceremony to receive automobile engines and welding robots... sponsored by Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company ( THACO Group).

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Huynh Phuong Nam, Vice Principal of the University of Technology (University of Danang), said that the school always strives to build standard laboratories and modern practice equipment to improve the quality of training and scientific research. This process receives support from the government, city authorities and businesses.

"In recent years, businesses have provided modern equipment to support training and scientific research. This has helped to shorten the gap between schools and businesses. As a result, students can immediately respond to jobs at businesses after graduation without needing much additional training," said Mr. Nam.

According to Mr. Nam, the school has built a cooperative and close relationship with Truong Hai Group Corporation over the years, through practical activities such as: internships, training, recruitment, training, sponsorship of major activities and events of the school, especially sponsorship of equipment.

"The car engines and welding robots that THACO sponsors to the school will help students access, experience and practice more directly with advanced technology equipment," Mr. Nam shared.

Mr. Do Minh Tam, General Director of THACO Industries, said that with a different strategy, long-term vision, and the dedication and efforts of the Board of Directors, THACO has achieved remarkable results, making practical contributions to the country's economic development and creating jobs for more than 60,000 workers.

Within the framework of the signed training cooperation program, THACO donated 7 car engines, 2 welding robots, 1 steering mechanism, 1 automatic transmission. These devices help students of the University of Technology (University of Danang) access modern machinery and technology, improve practical efficiency, and facilitate the implementation of scientific research topics. Thereby, training quality human resources, meeting the requirements and recruitment criteria of THACO and the labor market, increasing employment opportunities for students after graduation.

"We always welcome and create conditions for engineers from the University of Technology (University of Danang) to join the ' THACO family' . At the same time, we commit to continue to accompany the school in training and human resource development; scientific research , technology application and transfer; and guidance for students in internships and graduation thesis defense", Mr. Tam emphasized.
