According to Captain Nguyen Van Duc, Political Commissar of Radar Station 615: "The gifts are the sentiments of the officers and soldiers of the Station with the desire to share some of the difficulties and create motivation for the students in the charity class to strive to study well." At the meeting, the officers and soldiers of the Station also kindly asked about the lives, activities and academic achievements of the students.

Hon Chuoi Island Charity Class was opened in 1995 by teachers in green uniforms from Hon Chuoi Border Guard Station. Currently, the class has 32 students from grades 1 to 7 and has been recognized as a school in the education system of Song Doc town.

Hon Chuoi Island has an area of ​​about 7 ^km2 , is one of the important outpost islands in the Southwest of the Fatherland. The island has complex terrain, high slope, harsh weather conditions, little rain, much sunshine.
