To date, the pregnant woman and eight others have been discharged from the hospital. The remaining cases continue to be monitored at Phu Vang Medical Center.

Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Le Viet Trung, Head of the Culture - Social Department of Phu Vang commune, said that on the day of the incident, the above cases bought bread at CN bakery (Thanh Lam Bo village, Phu Vang commune) for breakfast.

Between 11am and 3pm the same day, many people experienced symptoms of abdominal pain, nausea, and diarrhea.

At the medical facility, these people were diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis.

After the incident, the Hue City Department of Health coordinated with the People's Committee of Phu Vang Commune to go to CN bakery to investigate and take samples for testing to find out the cause.

"If any violations are detected, we will request competent authorities to handle the business according to the law," said Mr. Trung.

On the same day, the reporter contacted the leaders of Phu Vang Medical Center many times to learn about the health status of the remaining patients but without results.
