According to Thanh Hoa newspaper, more than 700 staff and teachers from secondary and high schools were introduced to many practical AI applications by experts. The training content focused on basic knowledge of AI, how to use popular tools to design lectures, build creative learning content and personalize learning paths for students.
The program also guides how to apply AI in management and assessment, helping staff and teachers better visualize the potential of technology in improving the quality of teaching and learning.
In addition, students are trained in the skills to build and operate a “digital school”, contributing to meeting the requirements of comprehensive digital transformation in the education sector. This is considered an important step to improve the digital capacity of teachers and students.
Speaking at the training session, Mr. Duong Dinh Si, Deputy Head of the General Education Department, Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, emphasized: "The application of AI not only helps reduce the workload but also opens up new teaching methods, stimulates creativity and interest of teachers and students; at the same time helps improve professional capacity and the ability to apply technology in teaching, meeting educational requirements in the new situation".
