Harvesting carrots

Every early spring, Bac Ninh farmers enter the carrot harvest season. The vast carrot fields, harvested in each area, create a beautiful color combination between rows of freshly pulled carrots, golden yellow, arranged in neat rows, interspersed with rows of still green leaves. Everyone works hard to keep the carrots fresh: some pull the roots, spread them on the beds; some cut off the leaves; some put them in bags. Rain or shine, they all work enthusiastically, in harmony and rhythm. Finally, the trucks will carry the carrots to consumers.

Carrots are a familiar food in every family's meal. Because this root vegetable provides the body with abundant and necessary nutrients. Carrots are easy to grow as long as they are planted in loose sandy soil during the cooler part of the growing season - spring and autumn (carrots can withstand frost). Depending on the variety and local growing conditions, carrots can take from 2 to 4 months to mature. The plant is usually planted in spring and late summer (August to early February of the following year) for continuous harvesting until autumn.
