This is the second consecutive time Quang Ninh Club has conceded a goal due to a mistake by the goalkeepers.

In the previous match in the National Cup on September 14, goalkeeper Ho Van Tu made a mistake that caused Quang Ninh to lose 0-1 to Ha Tinh and stop.

After conceding a goal to PVF-CAND Youth, Quang Ninh Club made a substitution by sending Mac Hong Quan and Nghiem Xuan Tu onto the field. Immediately, the mining team played better and created consecutive scoring opportunities.

However, the strikers of Quang Ninh were very unlucky in front of the PVF-CAND Youth goal, either shooting wide or hitting the post. In the end, Quang Ninh Club lost 0-1 to PVF-CAND Youth.

Before this match, Quang Ninh Club had never lost to PVF-CAND Youth after 3 meetings in the most recent National Third and Second Division.

In round 2 of the 2025-2026 National First Division, Quang Ninh will return to Cam Pha to welcome Quy Nhon United, while PVF-CAND Youth will visit Ho Chi Minh City Club.
