Promoting Party channel cooperation, contributing to deepening Vietnam - China relations

At the meeting on August 28 in Beijing, Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh and Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Wang Gang highly appreciated the results of cooperation in recent times and agreed to promote exchanges through Party channels to deepen and substantiate bilateral relations.

According to Vietnam News Agency, during the exchange, the two sides affirmed that the Vietnam-China relationship has continuously developed positively, comprehensively and increasingly deepened in the direction of "6 more" under the strategic direction of the top leaders of the two Parties and two States. Many areas of substantive cooperation continue to record new bright spots, contributing to strengthening political trust and maintaining stable and sustainable development.

Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh emphasized that the Party and State of Vietnam always attach importance to consolidating and strengthening the friendly and cooperative relations with the Party, State and people of China. The Ambassador affirmed his readiness to join the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China in inheriting and promoting the achievements, promoting increasingly substantive, effective and comprehensive cooperation, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries. The Ambassador also proposed a number of key cooperation contents in the coming time, especially in the fields of theoretical work, propaganda, people-to-people exchange and youth exchange, thereby continuing to deepen the foundation of bilateral relations.

Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China Wang Gang affirmed his readiness to closely coordinate with the Party agencies of Vietnam and the Vietnamese Embassy in China to effectively implement the common perception between the senior leaders of the two Parties and the two States. He said that strengthening exchanges and cooperation through Party channels will contribute to building the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future, while contributing to the cause of building socialism in each country as well as peace and stability in the region and the world.

Mr. Vuong Cuong also proposed a number of specific measures to improve the quality of Party channel cooperation, such as publishing and translating bilingual theoretical collections on the Party's ideological foundation, coordinating activities in the Vietnam - China Humanitarian Exchange Year 2025, promoting research on the "red journey" for youth... These are considered practical activities to foster revolutionary awareness, helping the young generation of the two countries inherit and promote the tradition of friendship that generations of leaders and people of the two countries have worked hard to cultivate.

On this occasion, the two sides also informed each other about the development situation of each country and discussed a number of international and regional issues of mutual concern. Both sides reaffirmed their determination to continue fostering the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, considering it an important foundation to contribute to peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world .
